IEC Code is unique code provided to every Importer and Exporter. IEC code is a 10 Digit Code. IE Code is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India. IEC Code is must for every business that is in import or export.
It is compulsory to take IEC Code for importing any good in India or exporting any goods or services from India.

Documents Required For Private Limited Company/LLP

  • PAN Card of Company
  • Printed Cancel Cheque/Bank Certificate
  • Photograph of Applicant Director
  • Pan Card of all Directors
  • Address Proof of all Directors
  • Email id and Mobile number of all Directors
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • MOA & AOA of the Company
  • Address Proof of Company like Electricity Bill and Rent Agreement
  • One Digital Signature class-2

Documents Required For Proprietorship Firm

  • PAN Card Both Side
  • Printed Cancel Cheque or Bank Certificate
  • Photograph of Applicant
  • Address Proof of the Proprietor
  • E-mail id & Phone No. of Proprietor
  • Official Address Proof
  • One Digital Signature of class-2

The government fee for Import Export Code is Rs. 500.
